collingham neighbourhood plan minutes
Meeting of the 22 May 2013 (3334 / 1294)
SHLAA 3334 and 1294 Land South of Leeds Road
David confirmed that the plans used at the last walk in meeting were still current and therefore the Pros and Cons displayed were pretty much the same.
Paul commented that LEHT had not agreed to show the plans and therefore asked that they were not presented at the next walk in meeting. He undertook to amend the plans as necessary in order that it would be suitable to present them 29th and 30th June.
David expressed frustration that the planning officers had not been intelligent enough to consider them together. The submission by the Collingham Neighbourhood Planning committee had put them together. This is further evidence that our thoughts have not been given adequate consideration at this stage.
David went on to suggest that the planners may have a different opinion of the suitability of the site if they could be persuaded to walk the site.
Julian advised that a “workshop 2 was probably going to be offered by Leeds Planning dept. this could be the ideal opportunity to arrange a walk over.
Paul confirmed that it would not be intended to seek allocation of housing on the whole of SHLAA 1294 as the most southern part of this extends beyond the natural village boundary.
