DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST and CONSIDERATION of DISPENSATIONS None MINUTES of the last MEETING The minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 6th December were accepted as a true record and signed by the Chairman. UPDATE FROM ACTION LOG Cllr. Holmes gave a verbal report on outstanding action points, which were noted. Bishopdale Copse – Letter went to Chief Executive of Permission but still no response. Linton Green Space – Scheme agreed for 2017, quotes received and grants being prepared. Beck Wood – Path completed. Very positive feedback received from residents. Balances and receipts noted c. Resolved to purchase Speed Indication Device – sum £2602.80 (inc VAT). d. Emmerdale S106 application – Additional information on the three projects for the next bidding round has been submitted but no news regarding outcome as yet. e. Resolved to increase the original quote by £1000 for work at Beck Wood. f. Resolved to purchase fruit trees for Beck Wood – sum £67.50 (plus VAT) g. Resolved to donate £100 to Collingham Music Society to cover costs of the choir and band at the Christmas lights ceremonies at both Collingham and Linton. h. Projects and costs were discussed for inclusion in the 2017/18 budget. Chair to circulate final spreadsheet containing the projects, estimated costs and final budget figure, which will be agreed at the next meeting. i. Precept to be agreed at the next meeting. ORGANISATIONAL MATTERS a. The Miller Homes sub group will meet on Monday 16th January. SH to lead with support from JH and the Clerk. b. New Councillors – Mr. Mike Parker observing the meeting with a view to possibly joining the Parish Council. LEEDS CITY COUNCIL a. Complaints from residents – two complaints about the poor state of the highway on the A58 have been received. Cllr Stephenson is following this up with Leeds City Council Highways Department. With regard to the HGV ban, Cllr Stephenson advised that North Yorkshire have said that they have worse problems elsewhere. Agreed Cllr Stephenson to ask for traffic count data from North Yorkshire to back this up. b. Miller Homes – Cllr. Stephenson requested feedback from the Parish Council on preferred housing type on the Miller homes development. c. Linton Bridge – Cllr. Stephenson is organising a ‘formal opening’ committee for the bridge. AM expressed support for this idea. Cllr. Stephenson to lead and seek volunteers from the PC and community. TO CONSIDER ENVIRONMENT and VILLAGE MATTERS a. Cllr. Stephenson to report muddy and obscured traffic islands on Harewood Road to LCC. PLANNING See Appendix 1 for a. and b. a. Applications. b. Decisions and enforcements. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANS FOR COLLINGHAM and LINTON a. Linton Plan – No further news on the Kebbell appeal. b. Collingham Plan – The Neighbourhood Plan referendum is being planned for the 3rd week in March. ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA a. To agree projects and costs for 2017/18 budget. b. To agree the 2017/8 Precept. c. To agree hanging summer baskets for the Parish CLOSURE There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 9.55pm. The next meeting will be on 07 January 2017 at Linton Memorial Hall.
