car thefts in Linton
In the early hours of 4th January at around 4am, two properties on Northgate Lane were broken into with the prime purpose of stealing car keys. Two vehicles were then stolen, but fortunately the Police have since recovered both vehicles which were located in Crossgates, Leeds. The Police have asked if you could ring them on 101 if you have any CCTV footage which might be helpful regarding this incident.
The ridge linton - appeal allowed

The following fines and penalties have been issued by the police traffic officers in Collingham and Linton following the Parish Council's initiative to help reduce speeding through our villages during 2018.
35 Traffic offence reports (£100 fine and 3 penalty points, or Court Hearing).
6 Fixed penalty notices.
15 Verbal warnings.
2 drug related arrests.
2 vehicle seizures.

The Linton Neighbourhood Plan is now made. Please click here to see the Decision Statement. Once the Inspector has reached his decision he will communicate this to the Secretary of State who will make the final decision.
